A paper written by Katz PhD student WeiLei Shi and John Prescott, Thomas O’Brien Chair of Strategy and director of the Katz doctoral program, was selected for publishing in the Best Paper Proceedings of the 2007 Academy of Management meeting this August in Philadelphia.- A study of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 conducted by finance faculty members Leonce Bargeron, Ken Lehn, and Chad Zutter was cited in a July 26 article in The Economist (United Kingdom). Their study looked at the effects of SOX on publicly traded American companies.
